Questions & answers

The things people ask before they reach out.

Fees, confidentiality, how sessions work, what an EAP contract involves and how officiation is handled — answered plainly, so you know what you’re walking into.

Sessions & fees

How much does a session cost?

An initial individual consultation is R750 and follow-up sessions are R700 for 60 minutes. Couples sessions start at R850, and family sessions at R850. Full rates for every service are on the pricing page.

How long is a session and how many will I need?

A standard session is 60 minutes; 90-minute and two-hour options are available for couples, families and intensive work. Most people find a rhythm of weekly or fortnightly sessions to begin with, and we review progress together rather than committing you to a fixed number.

Do you accept medical aid?

Yes, we accept medical aids. The practice is registered under practice number 92358, and sessions can be claimed directly through your medical aid where your plan covers social-work services. Please confirm your specific plan benefits with your provider before your session.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. Sessions are available on-site in Pretoria or virtually anywhere in South Africa, and virtual sessions are billed at the same or a slightly reduced rate depending on the service.

Confidentiality & first steps

Is what I say confidential?

Yes. Sessions are confidential, with the limited exceptions recognised in South African law — a serious risk of harm to you or another person, abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult, or a lawful court order. These are explained to you up front.

What happens in a first session?

The first session is about understanding your context, not filling in a template. We talk about what brought you, what you would like to be different, and agree on how we will work together and what progress would look like. There is no pressure to disclose more than you are ready to.

How quickly will I get a response?

Every enquiry and booking request is answered within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. Urgent matters are best raised by phone on 083 255 7511.

Corporate EAP

How does an EAP contract start?

It begins with a scoping conversation about headcount, sites, risk profile and what your current provision looks like. From there you receive a written proposal with a per-employee-per-month rate, service levels and a reporting cadence.

What does the employer actually see?

De-identified, aggregated reporting: utilisation, referral patterns, critical-incident response times, trend analysis and recommendations. Individual identities and session content are never disclosed to the employer.

Can you respond to a critical incident at short notice?

Yes. Trauma debriefing and critical-incident response are offered on-site or virtually within a 24-hour response window for contracted clients, and by arrangement for once-off engagements.

Do you train our managers?

Yes. Manager consultations and red-flag training equip line managers to recognise burnout, family stress and mental-health warning signs early, and to refer with confidence rather than in crisis.

Marriage & officiation

Are you a registered marriage officer?

Yes. Oageng Moiloa is a registered marriage officer with the Department of Home Affairs and an ordained Reverend with over 30 years of pastoral leadership, so ceremonies can be civil, customary or faith-based.

What does officiation cost and what is included?

Officiation starts at R3,000 and includes travel within Pretoria. Travel beyond Pretoria is quoted separately. Ante-nuptial contract services through a lawyer can be arranged at additional cost.

Do you handle the legal paperwork?

Yes — the marriage register is completed on the day and the documentation is filed with Home Affairs, with guidance provided on what each of you needs to bring.

Can we add pre-marital counselling?

Yes, and it is strongly encouraged. Pre-marital counselling starts at R1,100 per session and can be bundled with officiation as a package.
